In 2004, she switched careers from molecular biology to start her pattern company, Quilt Soup. The Quilt Soup logo says homemade soups and handmade quilts. She likes both because they come from the heart. She includes a free recipe in every pattern. Quilt Soup offers kits for quilts made from her fabric.
